Saturday, October 6th, 2001: so here we are, a Saturday night and no plans to do anything outside the house. Oh well, at least I get to watch my beloved Mega-buds (aka Toronto Maple Leafs) taking on those hated Habs (AKA Montreal Canadiens). I don't know about you, but the team this year has sucked, even though it's just 2 games into the season. A season-opening loss at home to Ottawa was not acceptable, especially the way they played. My mom could skate better and hit harder than those pansies! Now, game 2 of the season and we're into overtime. Hello? Boys? You're playing the Habs...a freakin' team that has not made the playoffs the past 3 years in a row! What the heck is with this pathetic effort? Just 2 goals? Am I in for a long season...again?
I know, I know, it's JUST 2 games, but this is TO...we live for hockey.

But anyways, I'll update you on the final in a bit...

So yeah, I guess autumn has begun for us here in the Great White North. It's been pretty chilly lately, with highs of around 11C. For those of you that are unfamiliar with Celsius, too bad! Do your own math! I'm grumpy right now and therefore not in the mood to do extra work, like I've ever done that before!

So where was I? Oh yes, the weather...the leaves are sure changing fast...the wind is kicking up harder than most of the days through summer...it has rained for the past 2 straight days...I've just gone through 2 weeks of a cold, only to run into a guy that had strep throat and now I either have the beginnings of another cold or my allergies are kicking in. Either way, I feel lousy.

Hockey update...Leafs are giving up some scoring chances in OT, including a breakaway, but Cujo is holding the fort...just about 1 minute to go in the game...not that it'll matter to anyone reading this after tonight.

I don't know if it's my mood or not, but I went online today in search of what tickets would cost to a concert I saw advertised on MuchMusic.
What concert? None other than Miss Britney Spears, November 5th at the Air Canada Centre. Yes folks, I did go looking it up. I could have had a 7th row ticket, just off on a diagonal from the stage for a cool $111 CDN, or a pair of tickets on the opposite side of the arena in about the same row (9th this time) for a low price of $164 CDN. What a bargain, eh?
I was tempted to plunk down the cabbage, but then I thought to myself...if I got one ticket, I'd probably feel weird there, among all these young teenybopper girls. So I then thought about getting 2 tickets, but the next question arose...who do I take? That's harder to answer than to ask, if you can believe that!
I don't know of anyone that would go with me, other than mommy, but that's probably worse than going by myself! Sooooo, I decided to close out the browser window and go back to watching my game. Sorry Brit, I guess it just wasn't meant to be...this time.

Game update #2...it's over...2-2 final. I guess it's best we got a point, our first of the year, than nothing at all. Eeh, who am I kidding? I wanted 2 freakin' points!

I did some decorating in my room this past week. Not a heck of a lot, but still, it's covering up some more white spots on my still barren walls. I put up some of the photos from my trip to California, plus a few other random things from down there. Wish I had more random little things like that, but I guess I'll have to wait for my next trip, though that seems like a long time from now!
If anyone wants to help me decorate my room by sending me something from wherever you are in the world, it'll be more than welcomed! Just leave me an email. I doubt I'll get any responses, but hey, it doesn't hurt to advertise!

My next complaint, since I seem to be complaining quite a bit tonight, involves good ol' Canada Post once again.

I had sent out a number of letters, now a couple of weeks ago, and I've only heard of one person getting theirs. It's not like they were going all over the world or anything, but instead, all within 100 miles or so of each other. I don't get it. I've given up trying to figure out Canada Post a long time ago, but still, it's frustrating.

Now it's time for a little Q & A. I'll take some time out to dip into the mailbag and answer a few questions some of my fans have been asking me lately...

Q: How do you manage to keep your site so interesting an funny? - E. Coli from Walkerton, ON
A: Well E., it's like this...sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't...know what I mean?

Q: Are you really a Kreature? - Rye Nocerous from Green Bay, WI
A: Rye, that's a very interesting question you ask there. It's not a cut and dry answer. You see, sometimes at night, when it's really really dark (which it usually is since it's NIGHT) I find myself flying around. I don't know if it's real or just a dream, but if it's real, I must be some sort of kreature. If it's not real, then it must be the bad pot I bought!

Q: Have you, like ever, touched the stuff? - Ah Syd from Sydney, AUS
A: Ah, I don't know what the hell you're talking about there...dude!
Q: Are you as fun to be around as you seem from the stuff we read? - Ivana Booty from San Diego, CA

A: You know Ivana, you really don't want to know me personally. I've occasionally been referred to as Diablo. I don't know what that means, but I'm sure it's not too bad. But aside from that, I think you'd find me too odd and insensitive to be around. I always leave the seat up...I never do laundry...I embarrass people, especially when it comes to shopping and drums...I'm indecisive when it comes to picking movies to watch and I mislead Jehovah Witnesses

Q: Single? - Ahot Broad from Dublin, IRL
A: Nah, double or triple is better, but you can't beat a grand slam!

Q: Who do you think will win the Super Bowl this year? - OJ Simpson from Bern, SWZ
A: I'm glad you asked that question OJ. Winning the Super Bowl either requires a good team or a really lucky year. One team I can tell you that won't win it this year are the current 0-3 Buffalo Bills...the Bills make me wanna shout...kick my heels up and shout...throw my hands up and shout...come on now...the Bills are makin' it happen now...hey hey hey hey...hey hey hey hey...the Bills make me wanna SHOUT! Woohoo!!

Q: I'm currently dating this girl for about 5 months now. We've been going lots of places and we've done a lot of things together in private. The trouble is, I think I like her brother more. What do I do? - Homer Sexual from Paris, FRA
A: Homer...I'm not sure what I can tell you here. That's a tough one. Maybe buying some vasoline would be a start?

Q: Is it true that you're attempting a musical comeback? - Charo from Murcia, ESP
A: Yes, it's true Charo. I've signed a 5 year/$145 Million contract to play the lead in a revival of Hair. I know it's a departure from my quiet life lately, and I know it has caused an uproar within the musical community, but I see it as a change that is necessary. Look, baseball has it's big time players that make the big bucks; why can't I do the same on Broadway? It's as easy as 1-2-Vidal Sassoon!

That's all the time I have for answering questions now. There will be more as time goes on, so feel free to leave me your questions, via email at anytime.
I think that's all I have the energy for tonight anyways, so peace out everyone! The pictures from my trip to California will be up somewhere on this site...soon! I'm still being lazy about working on that, but it'll get done real soon. Maybe if I actually planned things out, I'd have it done by now, but nah, spontaneity is what it's all about!
